Support the Head of Personal Data Protection or DPO in fulfilling their tasks as defined by the PDPA and implementing the privacy program
Provide legal advice in terms of data privacy law and assist legal team in reviewing privacy-related contracts and documents, including Data Processing Agreements, Data Sharing Agreements, Data Subject Rights Form, and Consent Forms
Provide, support and guide relevant departments in conducting PIAs, DPIAs, and LIAs and ensure proper follow-up on their implementation
Regularly connect with key stakeholders across business units and functions to understand their current and planned data processing activities and ensure each initiative is properly executed in accordance with data protection laws and regulations and privacy-related policies and procedures. Exercise judgment to escalate key risks and compliance issues to the DPO
Support the integration of privacy standards, controls, policies into business processes to ensure consistent compliance and protection of personal data across the organization
Assist, monitor, and audit the organization’s compliance with data protection law, policies, and procedures
Response to data subject complaints and ensure all complaints addressed
Assist and oversee the development and maintenance of the ROPA and oversee the regular updating and accuracy of ROPA. Provide guidance and support to departments for proper documentation and verify that all updates are completed in compliance with data protection requirements
Support the development and delivery of training programs and awareness initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in law or information technology or related fields
A minimum of 5 years of work experience, including at least 3 years in data protection and at least 1 year in related fields such as information security management, regulatory compliance, risk management, or audit.
Excellence knowledge in PDPA and GDPR
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills both in Thai and English
Proactive attitude and ability to work as part of team
Certified CIPP/E, CIPM or related certification is an advantage
