Responsibilities
Business Opportunity Identification
- Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities in target markets, including new client segments and strategic partnerships.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
Strategic Planning and Execution
- Develop and implement business development strategies and plans that align with the company's growth objectives.
- Collaborate with senior management to refine and adapt strategies based on market insights and business performance.
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, prospects, and industry stakeholders.
- Lead client meetings, negotiations, and presentations to secure new business and expand existing relationships.
Proposal Development and Presentation
- Create and deliver compelling proposals and presentations tailored to prospective clients and partners.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure proposals meet client needs and company standards.
Sales and Revenue Generation
- Drive sales efforts to achieve revenue targets and contribute to overall business growth.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, including lead generation, qualification, proposal, negotiation, and closing.
Budget Management
- Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring expenditure provides an appropriate return on investment (ROI) while meeting business growth objectives.
Market Analysis and Reporting
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify emerging opportunities and threats.
- Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities, progress, and results to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with a strong track record of success in managing business opportunities and client relationships.
- Proven ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
- Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
